In this special issue, we explore how the objects in our lives shape what we create. Material objects hold memory and meaning, becoming references we return to in our own archive of ideas. We speak to designer Sugee Wee, chef Hanan Amir, artist Zulamran Hilmi, actor/director Nadhir Nasar and artist Hirendran Sivaganam to understand how the physical influences the intangible.
